Development has reached a stage where I can project a delivery timeframe.  The software will be ready for beta-test in mid-May with release about a month later.

The main features are:
  1. Logging outgoing e-mails to a contact record whether sent from TeleMagic or from Outlook directly
  2. Automatic (by user preference) logging incoming e-mails to a contact record
  3. Logging by Activity record and/or notepad stamp
  4. Logs include date, time, user, subject and body
  5. E-mails built using OutLook 2003 - all features supported
  6. Mass e-mailing using TeleMagic filter

We develop a customised TeleMagic User Guide for each client. In it we recommend that making scheduled calls should be done by using the Pending Activity list, that calls should be made on their scheduled date, and from the linked contact record. A key element is that making a call on the day it is scheduled will give a prompt when saving the call notes to "Add information to the call you had scheduled for this contact today?", thereby completing it and removing it from the pending call list. This avoids the issue of 2 activities that you mentioned.

With the right perspective, the cost of producing it is seen as a worthwhile investment in assuring user competency and consistency in their use of the TeleMagic based systems. After all, they have paid a reasonable amount to get the TeleMagic systems to work their way. The

User Quick Reference Guide provides the training document and the reference document which ensures TeleMagic gets used the way it was intended.
